THE BIG DOGS STORY
In 1983, a group of friends in Santa Barbara left home for a river rafting expedition. One member of the group made nylon shorts as a uniform for them all to wear. When one of the friends tried them on for the first time, he said “Man, those puppies are big!” and from there Big Dogs clothing was born.

I love the shorts, but they run really big.
These shorts look awesome. I get tons of compliments, and I like them as a novelty piece. I will say though, that the mediums, run huge on me, 6’1” 200 pounds. I would have definitely gotten a smaller pair had I known. The inseam is definitely longer then 5&1/2 inches as well. I don’t wear them as much, because they flare out on the sides and aren’t super complimentary for I’d say probably any figure. Order a size down, and I’m sure you’ll be happy.
